Alyson Thomas formed RileyGlassDesign in 2005. After studying stained glass techniques for many years previously, she wanted to experiment with kiln-based work and set up a workshop next to her home from which she has been producing a wide variety of fused glass 'objets d'art' since that date.

Her philosophy is simple: 'Create what pleases you and what you would love to own yourself'. She is inspired by the interplay of colour and light and by anything to do with water and the sea.
